Pune : MIM Lok Sabha candidate Anis Sundke has introduced that a memorial to Tipu Sultan is going to be built-in Pune.
Reacting to this, BJP metropolis Unit President Dheeraj Ghate said, “We will never enable the memorial for being built on Pune’s land underneath any situation. We will lodge a police criticism On this regard.”

Ghate claimed, “The BJP strongly opposes the proposed memorial to Tipu Sultan. He tortured the Hindus. Sundke is trying to generate a wedge among two communities by increasing the memorial challenge over the elections. many people tried to celebrate the start anniversary of Tipu Sultan. The BJP vehemently opposed it. We received’t allow for this to occur at any Price tag.”
Ghate stated, “Pune is called a cultural centre. Many historical personalities had been connected with it. Tipu Sultan was not an excellent leader.
